The Institute
for Law Enforcement Education is a recognized leader in law
enforcement training, annually providing instruction to thousands
of law enforcement professionals on a wide range of law enforcement
subject areas.
The Institute
for Law Enforcement Education responds quickly to training requests.
It often designs and develops curriculum to meet specific needs.
Training can be delivered at the client's site or at a centralized
location.
Training can
be structured in multiple levels, allowing learners to progress
from basic to advanced levels. Among the program offerings:
- Traffic enforcement

alcohol detection and testing

and safety workshops

The Institute's
instructors know their subject areas and how to effectively teach
them. All instructors are current or former members of law enforcement
agencies. In addition, nearly every instructor has more than ten
years of teaching experience with the Institute.
The Institute
for Law Enforcement Education has a long history of educational
excellence. The Institute was founded in 1984 as the Traffic Institute
for Police Services and functions as a division of the Pennsylvania
Department of Education. In 2002, the Institute's name was changed
to more accurately reflect its broad range of training options.
The Institute
